It is so nice to see that new anime is on the way despite the global pandemic happening right now. The latest in new anime that has been announced is a TV adaption of Guraburu, the spinoff manga series of Cygames popular smartphone game Granblue Fantasy. Kenshiro Morii (BanG Dream! BanG Girls Party! Pico!) will direct the series while Hitomozi Kiku, illustrator of the Guraburu manga, will be on board as the series composition writer. DMM.filmworks and W-Toon Studio co-work on the anime’s production. The Guraburu TV anime is set to premiere on BS11 and Tokyo MX on October 8. All of the cast from 2019’s Granblue Fantasy the Animation will reprise their roles for the new series.
Guraburu is a four-panel comedy spinoff of Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy illustrated by Hiromozi Kiku that has been serialized since the game’s launch in 2014 and collected in nine tankobon volumes from Kadokawa.
