New key visual revealed for The Promised Neverland second season anime!!

After being delayed from its original October 2020 release date, the supernatural thriller The Promised Neverland is slated to return in January 2021! The official website for the TV anime made the announcement and also released a new key visual illustrated by Kazuaki Shimada and finished out by both Mai Yamaguchi and Tomoyuki Shiokawa. The unveiling also coincides with the franchise’s 4th anniversary special event. The Promised Never Festival includes special events such as celebrating Emma’s birthday later this month, a YouTube hero image contest for the Promised Neverland radio show on YouTube and a Nico Nico livestream of the first season, among other events, which lead into a “nationwide exam” that will be held online and consists of a 50 question test, as well as an online election to decide the ranking of fan favorite characters.
