Gamers, Gamettes, players of all kinds! Lend me your ears! There has been a few rumors and official tease from Activision going around that a new Crash Bandicoot game is underway. Not remake, not a remaster, but a brand-new adventure for the lovable bipedal marsupial. According images of leaked box art, the new game will be titled Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and developed by Toys for Bob, the same developer behind Spyro Reignited Trilogy. The game’s title is very fitting since over the years we have seen remasters such as “Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy” and “Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.” Plus, it’s been a while since 2010’s Crash Nitro Kart 2, the last new title starring the character. Crash Bandicoot 4 will be a new title that is said to take place following the events of Crash Bandicoot: Warped. Judging from this, the game will return Crash to his platforming roots.
There is no official word from Activision or Toys for Bob. So we’ll just have to settle for the box art for now.
