Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night hits the one million milestone, IGA reveals big plans for 2020!!

What’s happening, Gamers and Gamettes! DevilDriver1313 here and I am really excited for the latest news coming from Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Kickstarter page. Koji Igarashi’s spiritual successor to his beloved Castlevania series has lived up to its expectations and surpassed them. The title has reached the one million units sold milestone even though the game has gone through rough waves during its development. To celebrate this achievement, Igarashi-san has revealed his plans for Bloodstained in 2020.

The second quarter will introduce Boss Revenge Mode where players can take on the role of a Boss Character and deal out some payback against the game’s protagonists. Along with this comes more customization via the Chroma Wheel.

Quarter Three brings about Chaos Mode and Vs. Mode. Players can now bring along a friend for co-op, battle against other players and features “classic mode”, which is Bloodstained 80s style with Miriam facing off against sub-bosses across five stages and three difficulty levels.

But the fourth quarter is what I’m looking forward to! We’re getting a new playable character and a Collaboration Event! Could a guest character be dropping by? Will we see the returns of Alucard? We’ll just have to wait and see what rolls out in 2020 for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
