Angel Beats and Charlotte announce new projects?

Are we getting a new Angel Beats?

Will see the return of Charlotte?

The official Twitter account for both Angel Beats and Charlotte have posted that a new project is being worked on the celebrate the 10th anniversary of Angel Beats and Charlotte’s 5th anniversary. Jun Maeda created both series. The post reads: “Again, this year marks ten years since ‘Angel Beats!’ and five years since ‘Charlotte.’ Because it is 2020, such a memorial year… We may be able to announce more information soon!? Please look forward to it!”

Angel Beats first aired in Japan exactly ten years ago today on April 2, 2010. It aired for thirteen episodes to June 26, 2010. The story takes place in the afterlife and focuses on Otonashi, a boy who lost his memories of his life after dying. He is enrolled into the afterlife school and meets a girl named Yuri who invites him to join the Afterlife Battlefront, an organization she leads which fights against the student council president Kanade Tachibana, a girl also known as Angel with supernatural powers.

Charlotte aired from July 5 and September 27, 2015 in Japan for a thirteen episode run. The series focused on Yuu Otosaka, a high school boy who awakens the ability to temporarily possess others, which brings him to the attention of Nao Tomori, the student council president of a school founded as a haven for children with such abilities.
