The producers of the horror anime The Island of Giant Insects has launched a Kickstarter campaign for the English dub of the film. Participants have a chance to have their screams of despair heard in a death scene. Other prizes include being animated into the film by the staff at Passione and voicing the new character Akira.
But if live action is your thing, then good news! The production team has teamed up with fame Japanese horror/thriller director Noboru Iguchi (live-action Flowers of Evil) to create a live-action short based on the film and manga series by Yasutaka Fujimi (story) and REDICE (art), complete with animatronics giant ants, which are also campaign records once production on the short is finished. The campaign launches today and runs until March 15.
