The terror factor has been upped for the second trailer to It: Chapter 2, the sequel to the 2017 blockbuster adaption of the best-selling novel by Stephen King. The latest trailer gives us a terrifying look at what’s to come when the Loser’s Club, now grown up, return to Derry, Maine to confront their childhood demon. The trailer was revealed at ScareDiego – Warner Bros and New Line Cinema’s horror-themed version of San Diego Comic Con. Attendees got the first exclusive look at the new trailer. Conan O’Brien moderated the event and introduced the cast along with director Andy Muschietti, who proceeded to show three iconic scenes that got under everyone’s skin while pleasing fans of the book and original 1990 mini television series.
Premise: Because every 27 years, evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, It: Chapter Two brings the characters — who’ve long since gone their separate ways — back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film. They intend to end the terror of It once and for all.
It: Chapter Two hits theaters September 6, 2019.
