We have the most excellent of updates for the upcoming third Bill & Ted film, “Bill & Ted Face the Music”. Series creator Ed Solomon has posted on Twitter pictures of the film’s co-stars Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine as the daughters of the metal-loving duo. Bill and Ted named their daughter after themselves – Billie and Thea. Solomon states that the pictures are hanging in the production office along with younger photos of their dads.

Production of the third Bill and Ted film has begun and is planned for release on August 21, 2020. The film is directed by Dean Parisot, director of Galaxy Quest. Original series creators Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson have written the script for the film. In more awesome news, Hollywood Reporter said that Anthony Carrigan will portray the movie’s main villain and William Sadler is set to reprise his role from “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey” as the Grim Reaper.
As far as the plot goes, time travel returns as the main ingredient in Bill & Ted 3 with the awesome dads traveling back to visit their younger, more awesome selves via using footage from the original Bill & Ted Excellent Adventure.
Earlier in March, Bill and Ted stars Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves posted a video, thanking the fans for their support of the film and its beloved characters.
