With the success of the Castlevania series on Netflix, producer Adi Shankar’s next project may revolve around the possibly of him adapting “The Legend of Zelda.” The report came from “The Wrap” but there is little in detail as to whether such as thing is truly happening. However, Shankar himself did post on his Instgram account about him “working with an iconic Japanese gaming company to adapt one of their iconic video game series into a series.” Outside of that, nothing is tangible.
The Legend of Zelda was adapted into an animated series that was a part of the Super Mario Bros Super Show that debuted in 1989. The series aired weekly for thirteen episodes. Zelda and Link would also appear in Captain N: The Game Master.
Adi Shankar will announce his new project November 16 @ 1:00 p.m.
