Nerdtino Expo: The FIRST East Coast Latinx Comic-Con, is in Philly!

The Nerdtino Expo, launching in Philadelphia, PA, is the first East Coast dedicated Latinx Comic Book, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, and Pop Culture Convention. Our event’s mission is to promote the history and presence of Latinx, Hispanic, Xicano, Afro-Caribbean, and Afro-Latinx creators in fiction, from comic books to literature to film and television, and to celebrate their presence in fandom.

•Edgardo Miranda Rodriguez – Puerto Rican Writer and Artist at Marvel Comics and creator of La Borinqena, an Afro-Latina Superhero starring in her own series!
•Sabrina Vourvoulias – Philadelphian Guatemalan-American Latina Fiction & Fantasy Writer, Author of Ink, contributor to Latin@ Rising: An Anthology of Latin@ Science Fiction and Fantasy.
•Matthew David Goodwin – Puerto Rican Assistant Professor in the Department of English at the University of Puerto Rico and is the Editor of Latin@ Rising: An Anthology of Latin@ Science Fiction and Fantasy.
•Victoria Avalor – Puerto Rican Professional Princess, Cosplayer, Model, Blogger, Heroes Alliance Charity Worker.
•Mike Hawthorne – Puerto Rican Marvel, IDW, and Dark Horse Comics veteran artist, whose work includes Deadpool, GI Joe: Origins, and Conan: Road of Kings.
•Allegriana – Fantasy Art & Cosplay Model.
•Alex Hernandez – Voice Actor of Lincoln Clay from Mafia III
•Lalo Alcaraz – Chicano Artist and Cartoonist, who will be hosting a screening of exclusive footage from Pixar’s Coco!
