So it seems that some interesting news about our favorite hedgehog has come out of Germany of all places. At this year’s Nuremberg International Toy Fair, SEGA was in attendance to show off the latest Sonic The Hedgehog merchandise and game releases, while doing some advertising for the upcoming Sonic Boom cartoon that will appear on Cartoon Network this fall. A member of Sonic’s number one German website who was there managed to take a picture of this advert that was on display at the Sonic booth.
Now, SEGA hasn’t confirmed anything as of yet in regards to this (hence why it’s considered a rumor), however that seems to be concrete evidence that the Blue Blur will be getting a chance to shine on Playstation 4, XBox One and the Wii U (again). Hopefully, SEGA gives us a main-line title for Sonic rather than another All-Stars Racing spin-off. If anything, we may have a reveal come E3.
